One of the perks of living in Iowa is that every 4 years, you get some special attention from the presidential candidates. I have seen Barack Obama speak twice in person here in Iowa City. First was his address on Earth Day. Check out a small snippet of it here:

True, the election is still a year and half away. I'm not saying to vote for Obama (who knows if he will even be a candidate?) What I'm saying is - let yourself be inspired. Do away with the cynicism. Believe that we can (must) do better as a country.

if you're serious about the bamster you should sign up at a democrat so you can support him in the primaries. won't it be excited to vote in the primaries in IOWA?!?
I saw the democratic debate last weekend and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with Obama too. I think he has some good ideas. I just hope he stays in the race.
